Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of predictive models, including classification and regression, using Python and Spark MLlib
• Define and track KPIs, design experiments, and evaluate the financial or operational value of models
• Engineer scalable Spark data pipelines and optimize SQL queries for performance improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics with production deployments
• Proficiency in Python (including Pandas/NumPy/SciPy), Spark (PySpark or Scala), and Spark MLlib
• Advanced SQL skills across large-scale data systems
• Strong background in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference
