Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Big Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, manage, and utilize large datasets across various data platforms
• Collaborate with business owners to understand data requirements and build ETL processes for data ingestion
• Implement and operate scalable, cost-effective solutions to transfer data from production systems to the data lake

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Apache Spark and Elastic Map Reduce
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
