A company is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and write global and game-specific services, including matchmaking and player stat tracking
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to support millions of concurrent players
• Write efficient, maintainable code including documentation, unit tests, and integration tests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 6+ years of backend engineering experience
• Experience solving distributed systems challenges and implementing scalable solutions
• Ability to serve as a component owner for software with a large user base, focusing on maintainability and reliability
