Senior Accounting Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer in Corporate Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate month-end reconciliations of loans to the general ledger and monthly loan reports
• Assist with allowance calculations and prepare supporting schedules related to the allowance inputs and outputs
• Prepare quarterly loan footnotes, MD&A, and special purpose reports, while ensuring proper functioning of loan-related general ledger accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Proficiency in banking software and spreadsheet programs
• Ability to interpret complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries
• Knowledge of compliance with banking regulations and policies
• Experience in preparing financial reports and analyses related to loans
