Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support its accounting function and ensure effective operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entry preparation and issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger's accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience, preferably in a public company or Big Four environment
• CPA (or working towards CPA), CIA, CISA designation preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, FAR, CAS, and DCAA regulations
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
