Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Software Engineer to utilize their security background and software development skills to safeguard federal government assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate processes supporting Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), including system log management and intrusion detection
• Create dashboards to assess security findings and manage system certificates
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with security regulations and standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of professional experience in the IT industry
• Minimum 3 years of full-stack software development experience in an agile environment
• Proficient with DevOps practices and tools, Python, and Business Intelligence tools for data visualization
• Familiarity with secure REST API design, PKI certificate management, and Cloud/Containerization technologies
• Knowledgeable in security practices and principles, with prior experience interfacing with ISSOs
