Job Summary

A company is looking for a Centralized Scheduler.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, and register outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics
• Obtain and verify patient information and ensure completeness of referrals and authorizations
• Respond to patient and staff needs, including handling scheduling changes and complaints

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State criminal background check, and federal if applicable, as required for health department regulations
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Experience in a scheduling or registration role is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling guidelines is advantageous
