SBA Underwriter - job 1 of 2

Job Summary

A company is looking for an SBA Underwriter III who will be responsible for underwriting and closing support for Small Business Administration loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for Small Business Administration loan requests and prepare necessary financial documentation
• Coordinate all documentation related to Small Business Administration applications and interact with loan applicants
• Assist in the operations of the Small Business Administration Department, supporting Relationship Managers in underwriting and closing loans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
• 5 or more years of experience in commercial bank products and commercial credit analysis
• 5 or more years of experience with MS Office
• Preferred: 5 or more years of experience with Small Business Administration loans and loan structuring
