Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Representative - Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for various clients, focusing on timely follow-up and collection on third-party payor accounts
• Research and resolve denials and underpayments, ensuring actions are taken within 24 hours
• Review aged accounts and submit appeals for unpaid or incorrectly paid claims

Required Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare insurance collecting and knowledge of medical billing and appeals processes
• Familiarity with surgical claims and denials
• Proficient in using computers and Windows-driven software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Understanding of managed care contracts and pre-authorization processes
• Experience working with non-participating providers
