Job Summary of Retail Sales Support:
This position is responsible for supporting key retail initiatives while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The individual will contribute to merchandise presentation, product replenishment, and store cleanliness, ensuring all operational standards are met. The role involves engaging with customers to provide tailored product knowledge, facilitate transactions, and maintain a welcoming environment on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Support:
• Give prompt responses to customer activity, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing service above other responsibilities.
• Create an inviting atmosphere by greeting and acknowledging every customer who enters the store.
• – Draw attention to the product value and its availability, emphasize current promotional offers, and provide alternative solutions for any items that may be out of stock.
• Resolve customer worries with wise judgment and a professional attitude.
• Utilize successful selling strategies to enhance store conversion metrics.
• Facilitate efficient transactions while also educating customers on loyalty incentives.
• Keep merchandise inventory at optimal levels and ensure a mix of sizes and styles are available for customers to purchase.
• Observe the company’s criteria for how products should be displayed, signed, and organized.
• Maintain a neat and orderly appearance in both the customer areas and inventory storage locations.
• Conduct daily cleaning operations and support adherence to safety and theft prevention practices.
• Inform the appropriate channels of any maintenance or facility issues to uphold a shopping environment that is sanitized and secure.
• Aid in maintaining proper inventory levels by managing restocking activities and ensuring systematic organization methods are in place.
• Team up with colleagues and take proactive steps to contribute to meeting store performance targets.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Sales Support:
• The basic requirement includes a high school diploma or its equal.
• Having a history of working in retail or with customers is advantageous.
• A minimum age of 18 years is mandatory.
