This position is 100% remote. We will only consider remote applicants residing in the following US states – AL, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, NC, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, and WI.

As a Remote Senior Health Data Analyst, you will lead the analytics department in delivering precise and timely reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights. You will play a pivotal role in patient and provider engagement, financial analytics, and utilization management. Collaborate with top-tier vendors to ensure our data warehouse meets the evolving needs of RHP and its customers, and be a key player in developing predictive models and integrating data from diverse sources.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Experience:
• 5-10 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in healthcare.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
• Proficiency with PowerBI, Tableau, or other industry-standard data visualization software.
• Familiarity with Epic applications and database structures, including financial and clinical data.
• Intermediate knowledge of Epic reporting tools, including workbench reporting, Slicer/Dicer, and understanding of Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle databases.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.

Preferred Experience:
• 2 years of experience in healthcare analytics.
• Project Management experience.

Core Job Responsibilities:
• Tackle complex problems creatively using advanced project management, technology, and processes.
• Analyze financial and utilization trends, benchmark comparisons, and deliver actionable insights for clinicians and management.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive organizational system (EPIC, Payors, Outside Vendors).
• Utilize predictive modeling to anticipate trends and optimize performance.
• Project financial outcomes of gainshare and/or risk contracts with precision.
• Develop and execute timely, accurate reports and visually compelling dashboards.
• Identify root causes and opportunities within large datasets.
• Empower leaders and clinicians with data-driven decision-making insights.
• Design and build advanced dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other tools.
• Uncover relationships and patterns within data to drive strategic initiatives.
• Ensure seamless data transfer to the data warehouse, maintaining integrity and timeliness.
• Resolve data integrity and timeliness issues with various data sources and vendors.
• Produce comprehensive reports on quality, financial, and population health management.
• Transform raw data into actionable intelligence for provider quality, risk adjustment, and care management initiatives.
• Serve as the “super-user” for the RHP data warehouse, leading best practices and innovations.
• Audit various RHP data systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, leveraging problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Coordinate with actuaries to deliver precise analytics and projections.
• Identify solutions for reporting needs and gaps, spearheading new developments.
• Lead Epic reporting for RHP and support CarePlus, Provider Engagement, and Data Analytics departments.
• Serve as project manager for the data analytics team, driving successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with SEHP for accurate data analytics and reporting.
• Act as a liaison between RHP and the Enterprise Intelligence Team, converting business needs into actionable report specifications or dataset constructions.
• Mentor and train other RHP data analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Perform other duties as directed.
