Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Mainframe - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and support solutions for Life company operations
• Process accounting transactions and manage income tax and premium tax reporting
• Collaborate with business partners and maintain legacy systems written in Assembler and Cobol

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Assembler and Cobol
• Experience with JCL, DB2, and SAS
• Familiarity with debugging tools like IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz)
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git
• Experience with GITLAB for managing code repositories
