Remote Calculus Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Calculus Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as lead instructor for approximately 20 Upper Division students in grades 10-12
• Ensure students achieve key learning outcomes of a problem-based, integrated calculus curriculum
• Lead synchronous and one-on-one tutoring sessions, providing feedback through digital math notebooks

Required Qualifications

• Experience teaching various levels of calculus with a track record of student learning
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to equity and inclusion in the learning environment
• Ability to set priorities and adapt to changing environments
• Experience using technology for communication and instruction, including proficiency in multiple platforms
• Located in a timezone between GMT and GMT-10, available for synchronous sessions Monday - Thursday
