Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational revenue cycle tasks including payer denials and appeals
• Analyze individual scenarios to identify trends for improving quality and efficiency
• Follow up on unpaid balances and determine billing processes for patients

Required Qualifications

• Must uphold confidentiality and comply with relevant policies and procedures
• Preferred knowledge of CPT, HCPCs modifiers, ICD-10 codes, and EOB interpretation
• Preferred understanding of payer requirements and clearinghouse portal navigation
• Minimum of one year of medical or healthcare-related billing or revenue cycle experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and electronic documentation systems
