Registered Nurse Case Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telephonic Medical Case Manager (Workers' Compensation).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephonic outreach for assessment and follow-up case communication and coordination
  • Conduct and document initial assessments with injured workers, employers, and providers while maintaining regular contact
  • Coordinate communication between providers, claimants, and other parties to facilitate timely return-to-work placements
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Case Manager (CCM) license required
  • Three or more years of clinical experience in acute care
  • Two or more years of medical case management or managed care experience preferred
  • Knowledge of utilization management, quality improvement, and cost management
