Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process over 50 referrals daily for completeness and correct routing
• Work incoming and outgoing referral queues in Epic and schedule patient appointments
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations while maintaining communication with assigned practices

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary training or college preferred
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and scheduling experience
• 6 months of Epic EMR experience preferred
• Working knowledge of referrals and InBasket
• Medical terminology knowledge is a must
