Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides primary referral and inquiry customer service for the Agency's services
• Manages incoming calls to the Intake department and coordinates referrals appropriately
• Initiates required referral documentation in the EMR and records insurance/authorization information

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Additional training as a medical secretary or licensed practical nurse preferred
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
• Four years of experience in a health care environment preferred or equivalent education and experience
