(English) (Spanish)Job Description:Airbus Helicopters is looking for a QE – Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our procurement team based in Columbus, MS.In this role you will manage the supplier contract execution and be responsible for supplier (On Quality / On Time) performance. You will also coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved in the supplier operations management and secure coordination with the corresponding Multi-Functional or Divisional Team.Meet the Team:The Procurement team’s mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and supplying to the overall competitiveness of the company. You will be the focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and an ambassador of the supplier toward internal functionsYou need to be able to manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for on-time, on-quality (and on-cost, when applicable) performanceAssessing the supplier capacity, capability, and performance; and contributing to the suppliers’ development is a key elementThe SCQM will have a comprehensive understanding of working with customer (internal/external) demands being manifested in various forms of communication (Service Letter Agreement, meetings, conference call, e-mails) and utilizing these through the CI processYour Boarding Pass:Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field, preferredMinimum five (5) years of technical experience in the field of Quality, Supply Chain or EngineeringExperience in Root Cause Analysis E.g. Practical Problem Solving or similar 8D type toolsAS9100 Auditor or equivalent trainingTeam working mindsetAuthorized to work in the USPhysical Requirements:
