Project Technical Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Level Technical Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and format scientific technical reports and marketing proposals for correctness and adherence to style guidelines
• Work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and communicate effectively with project managers and authors
• Collaborate with other editors to ensure consistency and track updates to style sheets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least three (3) years of relevant technical editing experience
• Science background or technical knowledge in environmental consulting, biological sciences, or cultural resources is highly desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, especially Track Changes and Styles functions
• Ability to translate technical jargon into plain language
