Job Summary

A company is looking for a Procurement Consultant who will oversee procurement operations and manage supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare solicitations, advertisements, and evaluate submitted quotes and bids
  • Supervise procurement staff and maintain purchasing files, reports, and price lists
  • Train departments on procurement activities and serve as a liaison with various departments
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Certification as a Certified Public Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) is preferred
  • Four years of full-time professional procurement experience in a governmental agency
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion
