Job Summary

A company is looking for a Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer for a long-term, remote contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external PRA and severe accident analysis for the Natrium reactor
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure PRA aligns with regulatory standards
• Develop and maintain event/fault trees, radiological transport models, and conduct PRA-based risk integration

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Probabilistic Risk Assessment
• Familiarity with PRA principles and ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standards
• Experience with PRA tools such as CAFTA, FRANX, SAPHIRE, or Risk Spectrum
• Broad understanding of multidisciplinary nuclear plant design principles
