Key Responsibilities

• Process authorization requests for completeness and possible approval
• Research issues utilizing systems and available resources
• Ensure timeliness and appropriateness of requests according to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of health claims or customer service experience in a healthcare environment
• Ability to navigate multiple systems
• Processing Authorizations with Medicare Part C or D experience
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy
