Principal Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Splunk Engineer to lead and enhance Enterprise Observability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and evolve complex Splunk and Cribl environments
• Drive innovation across the full lifecycle of observability platforms, including performance analysis and system upgrades
• Oversee automation, orchestration, troubleshooting, and governance of the Splunk infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of relevant IT experience; Master's degree with 10 years or Associate's degree with 14 years may be considered
• 6+ years as a senior-level Splunk Engineer
• 8+ years managing complex Linux-based infrastructures
• Proven expertise in architecting and enhancing large-scale Splunk infrastructures
• Advanced proficiency with Splunk Apps, Cribl Stream, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
