Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their Data Warehouse engineering team focused on building query federation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop parallel and distributed SQL query engines
• Drive innovation in the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP)
• Collaborate and contribute to open source projects

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in enterprise software design and development
• Strong understanding of scaling and performance
• Hands-on programming experience with data structures and algorithms, preferably in Java
• Good understanding of database internals, query processing, and SQL query optimization
