Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Cloud Operations Engineer, Databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Own database reliability, automation, and performance for the cloud platform
• Mentor team members on best cloud operational and engineering practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer environment issues, conducting root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of operational or engineering experience with production database systems
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise scale Linux Administration
• 5+ years of hands-on operational experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL server architecture and administrative tasks
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
