A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Coordinator (Remote) - Neurosurgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiates and facilitates the pre-determination process for insurance coverage
• Contacts insurance companies for benefit verification and pre-certification of procedures
• Maintains communication with department faculty regarding surgery schedules and logs pre-certifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting
• No specific certification required
• Associate degree preferred
• Certifications such as CPC or RHIT are a plus
