Platform Sustainability Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Sustainability Manager to lead a team focused on ensuring the reliability and operational excellence of its platform and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, ensuring a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Oversee post-incident investigations, driving root cause analysis and actionable remediation
• Provide strategic input into platform architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational standards with business goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in SRE, AppOps, or related roles, including 4+ years in a leadership capacity
• Proven success leading technical teams in SaaS or cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience with observability platforms and proficiency in modern programming/scripting languages
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery
