PCB Layout Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PCB Layout Engineer to design complex printed circuit boards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex, multi-layer PCBs with high-density components using Cadence Allegro
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to negotiate design changes
• Interface with suppliers to resolve manufacturing-related issues

Required Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Cadence Allegro and familiarity with CAM 350 or OrCad
• Experience with high-speed digital design and mixed signal technologies
• Knowledge of design rule checks, layout versus schematic checks, and library management
• 6+ years of experience in PCB design and understanding of electronics
• Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes and materials
