Payroll Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist II for a contract opportunity in Denver, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly, multi-state payroll for over 1,400 employees using in-house systems
• Ensure compliance with federal and state wage regulations, including Davis-Bacon and Prevailing Wage standards
• Submit and manage certified payroll reports and related documentation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or unionized environments
• Familiarity with Davis-Bacon Act and Prevailing Wage payroll regulations
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Viewpoint, Great Plains, or similar)
• Working knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance documentation
• Experience supporting HRIS systems and maintaining employee records
