Payments Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payments Paralegal to provide legal contract support and ensure compliance with Card Brand Rules and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and monitor legislation affecting operations, and draft legal documents to ensure compliance
• Manage legal contracts and ensure they adhere to internal templates and regulatory standards
• Serve as a subject matter expert on card brand compliance and coordinate responses to compliance violations

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or related field (paralegal certificate preferred)
• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role
• Familiarity with card brand compliance and the payments industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal documentation and contract structures
• Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and e-signature platforms
