Payment Variance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Variance Specialist responsible for managing claims payment variances and maximizing reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve payment variances and disputes with payers to maximize reimbursement
• Review historical payment information and identify discrepancies in payments
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and external payor organizations to support revenue cycle goals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle, Medical Billing, or Health Insurance
• Experience in Healthcare Account Resolution and/or payment variance analysis preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and PC applications required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment
