Patient Account Representative II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Rep II - Collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable by verifying account balances and ensuring accurate payment postings
• Contact payors and other parties to acquire timely payments and resolve claims issues
• Provide excellent service and timely communication to all stakeholders involved in the collections process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of related experience in healthcare revenue cycle or accounts receivable
• General knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
• Experience with advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills
• Familiarity with the Epic system is preferred
