About the Role
Yelp is seeking a driven sales professional to join our Partner Sales team. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring new agency partnerships serving SMBs. You will pitch advertising solutions to digital marketing agencies, build relationships, and demonstrate how Yelp’s platform can drive results for their clients.
Responsibilities
Prospect and pitch new digital marketing agencies aligned with Yelp’s standards.
Manage the full sales cycle from sourcing to closing.
Deliver data-driven sales presentations highlighting Yelp’s advertising solutions.
Explain Yelp’s API capabilities to scale or automate campaigns.
Identify decision-makers and influencers within agencies.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
Collaborate internally for smooth onboarding of new partners.
Spend about 80% of time on proactive sales outreach and 20% on account management.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Maintain a positive, growth-oriented attitude daily.
Qualifications
3+ years in digital advertising sales, preferably with agencies.
Proven success in exceeding sales targets in a hunter role.
Strong understanding of CPC and performance-based media.
Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LSAs is a plus.
Experience with API-based solutions in digital marketing or ad tech.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
Proficient in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel or similar tools.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
