Part-Time Remote Research Analyst / Law Librarian
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled part-time Remote Research Analyst / Law Librarian to join a dynamic legal research services team supporting a busy law firm. In this fully remote position, you will provide in-depth legal, corporate, and business research to attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Availability during East Coast business hours is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive legal and corporate research using a broad range of databases and tools.
• Collaborate with a distributed research team to monitor, prioritize, and fulfill research requests.
• Analyze and synthesize research findings, delivering clear, concise, and professionally presented results.
• Follow and adapt to client-specific research protocols and procedures.
• Deliver exceptional service and support to attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or legal research setting with demonstrated expertise in legal and corporate research.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program or JD from an ABA-accredited law school strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, and other legal research and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with a wide range of general electronic databases and specialized legal research tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex research clearly and professionally.
