Office or Remote Medical Customer Service Representative

GSS Lake Forest Home Care is a leading provider of in-home healthcare services in the Lake Forest area. We are now seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as an Office/Remote Medical Customer Service Representative.In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support, both in-person and remotely. Your main responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks related to patient care.Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from patients and their families with professionalism and empathy

• Schedule appointments and coordinate with caregivers to ensure timely services for patients

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information

• Assist in the coordination of transportation for patients as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Previous experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is highly desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Empathetic and patient nature

• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

• Flexibility to work in the office and remotely as needed

• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
