Occupational Safety & Health Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Occupational Safety & Health SME to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Safety and Occupational Health initiatives
• Conduct analysis of occupational/environmental health and safety policy and performance
• Prepare technical documents and responses related to occupational health and safety issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health, environmental health, public health, industrial hygiene, or related field
• Minimum 12 years' experience in bioenvironmental engineering or related fields
• Experience with Federal regulatory agencies and knowledge of relevant regulations
• Experience in developing strategic level occupational health and safety policies
• Understanding of Office of Secretary of Defense roles
