Job Summary
A company is looking for a News Editor - Network TV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing news in a timely fashion and adding titles to Asana for writers
- Editing news articles, prioritizing timely edits, and assigning news assignments to writers
- Writing news articles as needed, especially for breaking news, and attending weekly team meetings
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field
- 2 years of experience in producing entertainment and related content
- In-depth familiarity with the entertainment industry, particularly Network TV news
- Experience with SEO practices
- Experience with a custom CMS is preferred
