Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Assistant - Chemical Dependency.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed patient histories and collaborate with the team to monitor and manage treatment effects
• Interact with patients seeking admission to treatment, providing empathy and counseling
• Prescribe medication and document patient information to assist in developing treatment plans

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in Nursing is required
• Nurse Practitioner Certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• Registered Nurse certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• At least one year of experience preferred in chemical dependency, primary care, or hospital medicine
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
