New York Licensed Bridge Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bridge Project Engineer to lead bridge design and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and foundation design
  • Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures
  • Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge inspection reports
Required Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred
  • Over 10 years of transportation and structures/bridge design experience preferred
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • Familiarity with state DOT design standards (NYSDOT or PennDOT preferred)
  • Experience with MicroStation, STAAD, and Bridge Design Software programs preferred
