Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II to support the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective coping and recovery-oriented skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Develops relationships with clients to monitor emotional and behavioral changes and advocates for necessary resources

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Familiarity with recovery-oriented practices in mental health support
