Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager II-Specialty Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform care manager duties and mentor new hires to transition into the care manager role
  • Coordinate high-quality, cost-effective care and evaluate service appropriateness for members
  • Act as a subject matter expert, conducting training and participating in internal process improvements
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • License as an RN or a Bachelor's degree in social work, health, or behavioral science
  • Graduate level degree in Social Work or Health and Behavioral Science preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of case management standards and managed care principles
  • Advanced knowledge of specialty populations relevant to the role
