NESC Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an NESC Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Locate, catalog, and inspect telecom equipment for NESC compliance
• Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks including design and budget tracking
• Collaborate with multiple groups on network element designs and project implementation

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects
• Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
• Ability to identify existing utilities and manage right of ways and easements
• Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
• Experience with local networks and necessary engineering tools
