A company is looking for a Fire Safety Inspector 9-11.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and standards
  • Assess state facilities, institutions, and businesses for adherence to fire safety regulations
  • Provide assistance in various areas as needed within the designated territory
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma is required
  • Completion of courses for Michigan Certified Fire Inspector program or NFPA Certified Inspector I credentials is necessary for higher levels
  • Three years of experience as a firefighter, law enforcement officer, or corrections officer for entry-level
  • Two years of experience equivalent to a Fire Safety Inspector 9 for E10 level
  • Three years of experience equivalent to a Fire Safety Inspector, including one year at the E10 level for the 11 level
