Job Summary

A company is looking for a Departmental Technician for the Customer Requests, Eligibility Sub-Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Train staff and perform quality assurance activities for the eligibility processing of vital record applications
• Coordinate and monitor the processing of customer requests and manage filing systems
• Review and evaluate complex eligibility issues and propose policy changes related to vital records

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school education or equivalent
• One year of experience in administrative support activities at the 7-level or higher in state service
• Completion of two years of college may substitute for the experience requirement at the 7-level
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience requirements at the 8-level or E9-level
• Experience as a technician or paraprofessional may be considered for entry-level positions
