ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages is actively seeking enthusiastic team players to join our Pittston Merchandising Team. As a family-owned company, we pride ourselves on being a visible and engaged partner to the customers and communities we serve. Our mission is to quench the thirst of our neighbors, and we believe that when our employees thrive, we thrive. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising Coca-Cola products at all designated accounts within the Pittston region. The work schedule will be assigned upon hire, starting at 6:00 AM, and involves working in local stores to ensure that Coca-Cola products are fully stocked on the shelves. The Merchandiser role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs. You will be required to transport products between the backroom and display floor using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks. Additionally, you will be responsible for replenishing, facing, and rotating products, building and changing product displays, and maintaining product signage. Cleaning product spaces and securing damaged or defective products are also key aspects of this role. In managing the backroom, you will organize and consolidate backstock, monitor inventory levels, evaluate and process damaged products, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Communication is vital, as you will need to report status and concerns to store and company personnel, identify unsafe working conditions, and follow company policies regarding safety and equipment use. Customer service is also a significant part of the role, as you will assist consumers and store personnel by answering questions and resolving concerns. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be expected to perform tasks that involve lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as walking a minimum of 4 miles during the workday.
