Massachusetts Licensed Pediatric Education Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pediatric Education Specialist to support families in navigating medical and educational systems for pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource for families, collaborating with schools and healthcare providers to support pediatric patients with medical, developmental, and behavioral health needs
• Track and maintain data on ABA referrals, SSI enrollment, and access to educational services to identify gaps in care and improve coordination
• Promote patient- and family-centered care while advocating for psychosocially supportive practices across the care continuum

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Child Life or a related educational field
• Familiarity with ABA services, SSI enrollment, and early intervention programs is strongly preferred
• Bilingual candidates are preferred
• Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Act, Section 504, and relevant education laws and regulations
