Role Overview – (5 Month Part-Time Fixed Term Employment)
Global Citizen is seeking a Marketing Partnerships Directorto work within the Global Marketing team. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic in-kind marketing partnerships across platforms to support Global Citizen’s movement growth and brand visibility through OOH, radio, print, and digital placements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience in integrated marketing, partner management, and media planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. In-Kind Media Partnership Development – 40%
Brainstorm and build innovative in-kind partnerships across digital, OOH, print, and radio, especially during Global Citizen’s key tentpole moments such as the Global Citizen Festival.
Lead the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, and executing.
Identify alignment opportunities between partner goals and GC priorities.
Collaborate with Business Development to ideate co-branded campaigns and integrations.
2. Media Partner Relations & Operational Excellence – 30%
Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, agencies, and vendors.
Introduce and refine processes to improve efficiency and reporting.
Proactively recruit and vet new partners through research and outreach.
Work across Marketing, Business Development, Social, Editorial, Press, and Policy teams.
Support the Global Citizen Rewards program by embedding rewards into partnership deals.
Contribute to cohesive, mission-aligned messaging across consumer-facing platforms.
3. Tracking and Reporting – 30%
Maintaining meticulous tracking of agreements, documents, photography, and partner deliverables in a structured, organized, and easily accessible format for executive-level review.
Education & Experience
8–10 years of experience in partnership marketing, business development, or integrated brand strategy.
Experience managing OOH media campaigns
Proven experience leading negotiations for barter media agreements, securing high-value placements, and optimizing media spending through strategic partnerships.
Proven background in entertainment, media, or agency environments.
Strong record of delivering cross-platform campaigns with global brands.
Established a network of agency and industry contacts.

Global Citizen operates on a hybrid work model – 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in our NYC office and 2 days (Monday & Friday) telecommuting.
Salary Range: $55 – $65 Hourly (Up to 30 Hours/week) Through October 15, 2025
