Perform identified incurred cost and/or indirect rate audits through all aspects of the audit including planning, fieldwork, work papers preparation, and reporting. Audits shall be performed, documented and reported in a manner compliant with the (GAGAS) framework as issued by the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Most work can be performed remote with occasional visits to the site.
The Project Manager must possess a B.S. or B.A. Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Must have at least five years of applicable work experience. An MBA is desirable as are any relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Government Auditing Professional, and/or Certified Management Account.
Project team members must be familiar with the Hanford site and its practices. Other desired qualifications include prior experience auditing subcontractors for a DOE prime contractor. Must also possess experience interpreting the FAR, DEAR, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and DOE Office of Inspector General (OIG) acquisition letters and audit reports. Must possess mastery knowledge of auditing within Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and any further Internal Auditing Standards.
