Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managed Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance eligibility, obtains benefits, and documents in patient's file
• Uses Epic Work-queues to obtain authorizations for ancillary service referrals
• Performs financial counseling with patients and processes paperwork for financial assistance

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office setting or one and a half years in a high-volume public contact position
• Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures
• Demonstrated advanced PAS user skills
• Experience in a medical office setting
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Associate Degree or higher is a plus
