Mainframe Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Engineer - Professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, and JCL
• Provide production support and interface with business lines and IT teams
• Train junior staff and lead initiatives in application development and support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in mainframe technologies
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Experience with relational databases such as Sybase, DB2, and SQL Server
• Familiarity with mainframe integration with APIs and IT modernization efforts is a plus
• Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred
